Emotional Body

Emotion is the name given to our feelings whether we express them or not. We have a whole range of emotions such as anger, jealousy, spitefulness, fear, happiness, sadness and resentment. Emotions are our reactions to the events that are happening in our life at any given time. Within each of us we have a store cupboard and it is full of our emotional reactions to life.

A good balance of emotions is needed for spiritual growth to take place. If we are continually a victim of imbalanced emotional states, there will be little stability within our system to access those deeper parts of ourselves.

Growth of the emotional body

Our first training ground for our emotions takes place within the womb.  Young babies are not only receiving the basic raw materials for the formation of their young bodies, they are aware of their parent's emotions towards each other and towards the baby. Over the years, in my work as a therapist, I have regressed many of my clients back to the womb stage in order to clear emotional imprints from this time. The incoming baby knows whether it is wanted or not. It also knows what sex it is and whether its parents are happy with this.

When a young baby wishes to draw attention to itself it cries out. It learns that if it cries out somebody comes and it is learning and imprinting all the time. Continuing on throughout childhood this technique is developed. Later, when a young child really wants something that is being denied, it works out effective strategies for getting what it wants, the most obvious being the temper tantrum.

Children's emotional bodies are not fully formed and they do not know how to deal with abusive situations. Somehow they have to survive and they often do this by closing down their heart to minimise the damage that they are receiving. Often they grow up into abusers themselves, with their self-worth severely handicapped and underdeveloped.


Maturity, transmuting childhood emotional patterns

When we enter our teenage years and young adulthood our emotional bodies are still forming and growing. As we interface with different life situations and come into contact with a wider range of people, we need to transmute and transpose those childhood emotional responses into something more mature. We should be gaining a sure knowing of ourselves and the world that we live in and becoming more secure and confident within it. Growth is always required of us on all levels and it is life itself that is our teacher.

Emotional patterns can get stuck within our system. If something has happened in the past that has given us great pain and a similar set of events repeats itself, those original feelings of fear and anxiety start to be stirred within us. These essences are to help you to free yourself from these patterns. Whenever a restrictive set pattern is challenged there is often anger and resentment. These are the emotional responses that go along with the pattern. For instance, as a child you may have imprinted within your system a pattern that says, ' I am not good enough', which leads to an inferiority complex and a lack of initiative. This type of pattern also leads to a statement that says, ' I can't do this or that'. This may have come about from your parents or teachers in response to a poor performance at school in some subjects or as a comparison to other siblings. But life moves on, and it may be that the home situation or the school situation was not really allowing you to develop your skills properly. In order to move forward this pattern needs to be updated with a more positive one leading to growth. We have many of these patterns running and need to start weeding our emotional garden.

Our chakra system gathers and stores emotional information. If we have met with an abusive situation as a child, our emotional reactions  will be stored within the memory system of the appropriate chakra and in particular the solar plexus. This could be likened to an energetic filing system. Each time a similar type of 'hurt' is received, it is stored in the appropriate file. This file can grow into a huge file as life progresses. We carry this around with us unaware of it as it is subconscious, but what can, and often does happen, is that a small event can trigger a huge emotional response, due to the size of the subconscious file, which is out of all proportion to the event itself. If you find yourself in this situation, it is time to start emptying the file, clearing the emotional body so that a truer picture of yourself can be seen.

Intense emotions can be harmful both to yourself and others. This is due to the fact that different types of emotions carry different energetic frequencies. Intense emotions containing anger are red and this energy generated within yourself passes from you into the recipient of your anger. When it is received energetically along with the spoken words, it stirs in the recipient a similar energy and usually it is returned to you with added ferocity. This whole ' show' is damaging to the energetic systems of both participants. The finer, calmer, balancing energies are thrown out of gear. In order to make progress it is necessary to look at the 'triggers' behind intense emotional outbursts and see what you hope to gain by them. When these are clearly seen, they can be dealt with and healing of the wounds behind them can take place.


Essences to start clearing the emotional body

To start to cleanse the emotional body, take a blend of Tantani, Frangipani or Verbena.

Tantani will bring the needed insights into your emotional patterns. Frangipani or Verbena will start a cleansing process within your system.

Follow this with Purple Spear Flower to heal the heart.

Emotions and the world of duality

The world that we are born into is a world of duality, of hot and cold, big and small. Everything has its opposite. We will have a mix during our life of good and bad, happy and sad, high and low experiences. If you read the newspapers or watch the television news you will see that we are more attached to the negative than to the positive. We feel despair when we read about the problems that have developed within our beautiful world. But this is only what is happening in the outer world. It is our individual responsibility to look after our own inner world and the way we respond to everything around us, and this can then reflect into our outer world. The more attention we give to sorting and sifting those patterns within us that are not serving us, the more progress we will make. We can grow wonderful loving, caring and peaceful energies within us that will uplift all who come into our contact. It is for us to conquer our outdated emotional patterns.
