White Lotus Meditation

Meditation

This is a meditation to help you to become aware of your energy centres. Each chakra should be meditated on separately to begin with while you gather information. This is a very good way to sort out imbalances within your system

Preparation

Take Frangipani essence to start to cleanse and align chakras. Read section on Energy Centres in this book.

Create a quiet space where you will be undisturbed. Use Samadhi Neem and Frangipani in a room spray to prepare your room. Have a notebook ready.

Sit in a comfortable position. Ask your soul/higher self to work along with you and to present you with any information that you need. Close your eyes and begin.

Meditation

Root Chakra - base of spine - Focus attention here and sense your connection to the earth. This centre forms the base of your life. It is solid and secure and if healthy and active indicates that you are creating adequate physical structures to live by. Make notes on information that you receive about your roots. Record the colours you sense and any images.

Sacral Chakra - centre of abdomen - If this centre is active you will get a sense of your creativity. How active is it, does it feel joyful, clear and alive? Is there a colour or image? Spend time on this and when you have an idea of its level of activity, give it a percentage. Record any images or sensations.

Solar Plexus - at the base and centre of rib cage - Your solar plexus centre will allow you to become aware of your confidence and personal power. Sense the level of anxiety present and give it a percentage. Record colours and any images.

Heart Chakra - centre of chest - This is the centre of love and many emotions. Notice whether your heart feels open, closed, bruised, sensitive. Record any images, colours or sensations. Is your heart open to giving and receiving love?

Throat Chakra - centre of neck - Become aware, in this centre, of the way that you communicate. Does this centre feel free and open or restricted and closed?

Brow Chakra - centre of forehead - Here you will find your outer eyes and the third eye of intuition. Become aware of your outer sight and also of your inner perceptions. How strong is this area? Record any images and colours.

Crown Chakra - top of head - This is the centre which connects you to God and the universe. If you are not used to meditation or if you are not spiritually aware, this centre may be closed. Sense if this is the case. A good image is a lotus flower. If you want it to open, imagine it doing so. Are you more in touch with your feet or your crown? Are you more in touch with your mind than your spirituality? Record any sensations, images or colours.

tart this meditation with the preparation for Chakra Meditation 1.

This meditation starts at the crown chakra and is about receiving more light into your chakra system.

Crown - focus your attention at the top of your head and start to get a sense of your crown chakra. This is often seen as a lotus flower either closed or at various stages of opening. Allow it to be open by visualising it opening. Visualise a stream of light above your crown entering into your crown centre. This should feel pleasant.

Brow(third eye) - Allow the 'light' from your crown chakra to move downwards and into the brow centre.

Move on down through your chakra system taking light into each centre. This should feel sweet and light as well as strong. When complete and you have reached your base chakra, rest a while, feeling your connection to this flow of your inner light. When you are ready, focus on each centre in turn as you move back up through your system. This is a very energising meditation. Also, as more light enters into each centre, it enhances the understanding of it.

It takes time and practice for your energy centres to notify you, via intuition, of their state of health and balance. Practise this meditation frequently, with patience, and you will find that gradually you will start to become aware of the subtle knowledge of your energy system. This is a journey of discovery and you will be surprised at how much you will learn about yourself.

If you find that there is a problem with any of the chakras, take the appropriate essence as given in the section on Energy Centres. When you have worked through each chakra and have become aware of your system, move onto White Lotus Chakra Meditation II.

Remember - flower essences do not work all the time for everybody, nor are they a complete or exclusive system of healing for the emotions. They should not be used instead of properly qualified medical or health practitioner advice. Always get an orthodox medical diagnosis, particularly to exclude unsuspected and undiagnosed important illness, and as part of your partnership with health practitioners on your journey of health.
