Flower Essences for Children
Light Spirit Essences has developed a new range of essences specially for children. Patricia Caswell co founder of Light Spirit Essences has worked closely with child specialist Seppie Hope to produce this set.
Children have very light energetic bodies and respond very quickly to essences which can quickly bring them back into balance and harmony, allowing them to touch into their ever present inner joy.
The major combination essence for children is called Bright Light. Keeping a balance between the material world that children find themselves in and their own truth is essential and this one essence will help them to do that. Babies and children are in bud form, they open at their own pace, and care needs to be taken that they are not ’force fed’, that their childhood is kept intact. Too many varied vibrational frequencies can be harmful to our children,. A balance needs to be kept between natural play and computer games.
Bright Light. To keep the magic and wonder alive in your child. Children are exposed to so much adult information that their natural joyfulness can be overshadowed. This essence can re connect to the natural joy and wonder which is at the heart of all children. When children become too pre occupied with the material world and seem dull and disorientated, not knowing what to do, appear burdened, and are unable to see the bright or light side of life. This is also a spiritual essence. Spiritual in this sense is not linked to religion, it is the natural state of a child to love and to be loved and to be joyful and happy.
To listen to the sound of children at play in a playground is to hear the sounds of joy, freedom, laughter. Often this is not expressed in words alone, but in joyous shouts and sounds as their young bodies cavort, jump and swing, bounce, climb and skip just for the fun of it. This beautiful play and carefree abandonment is their natural expression. They are never still or quiet for long. Children are growing every minute of every day, expanding and learning about themselves and their world. Children move and live in the moment. There is a natural unfolding from within them that needs to be met with the appropriate outer conditions to secure a child's growth. Children are naturally spiritual, they have 'wonder' and 'delight' and 'joy'. They are spontaneous and joyful beings.
It helps children enormously if their rooms are sprayed each day with a Room Clear Essence. This is a simple procedure using a 50ml spray bottle filled with spring water and a couple of drops of a room clearing essence from Light Spirit Essences. This clears away stale energies and keeps the space light and bright. Children’s rooms where they have been playing, arguing etc., often need cleansing of the emotional debris in the atmosphere and especially where many children are occupying the same room.

Children’s Shock Aid Essence - emergency essence for all sudden shocking experiences. This essence can be used as a spray and also put on the body if there is a serious injury requiring surgery. Also spray around the wound itself.
It is doubly effective if a few drops are taken every few hours as well as using a body spray. When children are playing, keep this essence handy. If you have an accident prone child, it will be invaluable.
Calm Balm Children‘s Essence - When too much is happening, or has happened in a child's life, they often react with over excited states. This essence is helpful for keeping them calm and steady at those times.
A useful after school essence for rebalancing children when they have had a mentally stimulating day at school. Often children need a quiet time to readjust their energies. Also, for those children that find it hard to get to sleep, this calming rebalancing essence will be of assistance. Put a few drops in their bedtime drink, or in a body spray, or give a few drops from the bottle. It will calm the overactive mind and body.
Many children today are being overstimulated by the ready access to computer/electronic games and this can cause an imbalance due to the mental concentration necessary and the physical body is lacking in action. Watching television is a passive activity and too much feeds children with too many varied energies that are not encouraging them to use their own skills. It robs them of play time and creative activities. Use this essence to rebalance them after such activities and try to limit the amount of time spent in this way. Too much physical energy that is unused causes children to exhibit difficult behaviour patterns.
Many hyper active states stem from an unbalanced diet rich in refined foods and also from too much sugar in their food. Food allergies can also be a major cause. Many These states cause difficulties in school and disturb their natural rythm. Diet and exercise needs to be addressed as well as using calming measures.
Magic Mummy Children’s Essence This essence is specifically for those times when Mummy is away and being badly missed. It is invaluable when a new baby arrives and older siblings are not able to get enough of her . Useful also for young children in day care and helps them to receive and feel the nurturing comfort of their mother.
Super Daddy Children’s Essence This essence is specifically for those times when daddy is absent and being badly missed. Especially useful if there has been a separation, or if Daddy is working away from home , on long journeys abroad.
Catch a Rainbow Children’s Essence brings fun and laughter when life has become too serious. Uplifting. “Don't worry, be happy”. Smiles all round! Use when there has been too much homework, a feeling of heaviness, worry and anxiety. Also for disappointments ie poor marks at school, not selected for the school play, etc. Fear of failure. Worrying about “what will happen if......?”
DOSAGES;
Age 1 - 6 1 drop of essence to be added to drink 3x daily.
Age 6 - 12 2 drops of essence to be added to drink 3x daily
To enhance effect - 3 drops can be added to bath water.
3 drops can be added to 50ml spray bottle filled with spring water. Close eyes and spray around body 2x daily.
Put 1 drop on centre of forehead.
