There is a timing to everything on this earth. There is a beautiful harmony in the way that our solar system moves, and the way our planet rotates; the twinkling of the stars and the cycles of the moon. Not every tree presents its seed pods in such dramatic form. They are very long and artistic in their presentation. Every pod is important and well spaced all over the tree. There is a wholeness and a completeness about this tree, the cycle of rebirth and regeneration is prominent and important. Structure stands out. The layers of structure needed for a healthy tree.
How can it help us as an essence? It gives insights to us about the way we structure our lives. Structure in our bodies, i.e. a healthy body structure is built from the right diet as well as exercise. Too many late nights will exhaust the system creating an imbalance. We also need to recognise structure in the tasks we take on and how our contribution fits in with the whole. A healthy seed comes from a healthy body and a healthy relationship with ourselves, our partners and the world around us. We learn wholesomeness from this essence. Seeds are also linked to new beginnings and this can be in any walk of life such as seed thoughts for a new business. Again, structure is most important, as a business will not grow without it. New seeds need to be allowed to ripen and mature before being birthed.
Right timing and acceptance of the passing of time is also part of the message of this essence. There is a season for everything. There is a time to be born, a time to be a child, and a time to be an adult. All too soon, old age is upon us and our time to die looms before us. There is a time to be busy and a time to be still. Acceptance of this continual process, and being in the ever present moment with it, creates peace, balance and harmony.
Look after the portion of life that is given to you. Even those small things that you do are not insignificant. Every task done as well as it can be, is leading to more harmony in this world. Take responsibility for yourself. Life is a gift, you do not stand alone. From the moment of your birth you are dependent and sharing your life with other people, and the natural world. Service to humanity and to this planet and life on it, is the task of everyone.

Self process Take a look at your life and make a list of the activities undertaken in a typical day. Include: work, play, physical exercise, cooking, eating, creativity, resting etc. Put a percentage by the side of each section. Does it have balance? Notice where you need to change things around to create more balance and harmony.
